Exploring Drawing Techniques and Drawing Materials: From the Ice Age to the present.
Picasso's time spent with Dora Maar led to a new phase of experimentation both in photography, painting & drawing. This drawing I have made shows both profile & full face. Dora had experimented with this idea in photomontage and Picasso looked at this and back to his cubist days for inspiration. Picasso in the paintings that he made at that time using Dora's Image, catches her intense personality & the difficult occupation period in France.
