Art Works > Exploring Drawing Techniques and Drawing Materials: From the Ice Age to the present.

In this interpretation of a Picasso drawing of Francoise Gilot, I have changed the work from a charcoal based work to a sanguine colour, a warmer colour. I loved the flow of the hair in the original. For a project on Global Warming, I had made the hair and neck into a tree like image. They say a woman's hair is her crowning glory, I am also saying that the Trees of this Planet are a crowning glory. Picasso must have looked at the flow of hair in Leonardo's red & black chalk drawings.
