Rembrandt drawings in Ink to me are some of the best I have ever seen in that medium. The paper used in his time could have imperfections and would be difficult to draw on with a modern steel dip pen. Rembrandt preferred to use various types of Original Quill Pens, they have the ability to skip over uneven surfaces. In this drawing I have used a Quill Pen from a source which treats the ducks humanely only when they have shed their feathers. The Quill pens sold in art shops can be expensive but I managed to get these at reasonable price on line.
