From childhood I enjoyed listening to the Great Greek Epics of Homer's poetic imagery of the Trojan War and its aftermath, The Iliad & Odyssey on the Radio with my brother, it appeared to throw up great imagery in my imagination as a child. This image like a hybrid of various parts of classical Greek sculptures forged into a War Machine, think of the Trojan Horse. The Greeks could make beautiful images but also depicted the brutality of War. In this drawing I have introduced a watered ink Wash to draw out tonality of the Form.
