During the process of making these elegies, I researched a lot of eyewitness accounts
of the sinking of the Titanic. One poignant report, was of a dead mother, floating on the surface
of the icy waters, she was found the next day near where the ship went down. She was still clutching her dead child to her breast The loss of children was particularly high,in the region of 66%,mainly from the third class passengers.
