On the 11th April 1912 the Titanic headed into the Atlantic on its maiden voyage.
The ship at the time was the largest moving object on the planet that humanity had
produced. Titanic was also the most technically advanced designed ship of its day
and dwarfed its competitors. The ship was designed and built in the shipyard in Belfast,
an amazing achievement for a city of approx,4000,000 people. The first image you will see
is my interpretation of the encounter, between theTitanic (the product of the industrial
revolution) and the Iceberg (the product of nature). A meeting of Titans of a different kind.
