The Attic space had a feeling it had lived through the second world war period and the communist era.
So the idea of mannequins as a central focus point seemed right, a place where two people could meet in private, sheltered from world outside. When Jim and I went to collect the hired mannequins, it was a surreal experience. We entered the premises to be surrounded by a sea of stunning figures made by a nice old couple.
We travelled back through the rush hour traffic, to the east of the city, with these lifelike naked figures each side of us in the back of an old Merc., we got some astonished looks.
