'The Virus Dance'.Gleason. 2020. In the middles ages the Black Plague reduced the population of Europe by up to 60%. The artists responded by making images of that period. The masks in this work based on the Plague Doctors masks which sadly did not protect them. I feel this virus has a dark heart dancing through our communities taking loved ones.
