Prometheus and the Penguin. 2008. In ancient Greek myth Prometheus gave humanity the power of making tools and fire as an aid to our survival in the environment. But the abuse of these gifts can threaten our very survival. If we do nothing to limit our fuel emissions and find greener replacements, his gift will have been wasted on us. The Penguin appears to have more wit than his companion as they drift further out to sea with no life line.
