The concept of this work tries to brings together the themes and challenges of both the local and a wider world in the 20th century. As a child born after the 2nd world war one became aware through Histories that appeared in my youth of that period. The ethical debates of that time still reverberate to this day. That reptilian instinct for survival and that humanitarian side of humanity that coexist. The Iconic image of the metal dome at ground zero at Hiroshima imprinted in my generations conciousness. At that time these past events and what was in the N.Ireland Troubles unfolding around me started to co-exist at times in certain images I was making. The rights and wrongs of terrible events happening during the troubles. At times genuine remorse shown and at other times Crocodile Tears.
