Their boat is so loaded with their greedy purchases, it is in danger of capsizing and sinking.The Harlequin figure surreptitiously bails out their heavily laden craft, ,his assistant serenades to ease any prick of conscience. In newspapers and on Television, I have read and seen reports of people who have lost their homes, jobs,living in temporary
accommodation.To see some of these people, living with their families in containers
from large trucks, the soup kitchens keeping them barely fed, afloat but all dignity gone.
I remember someone once said, how many beds, how many houses, can one individual inhabit, at any given moment in time, the answer is one. Obviously in life people do own
more than one property, one car etc. Surely though there is a point when greed exceeds the balancing point in a healthy society.
