During this series I tried to record the number of of people who were being killed. Sometimes as in this picture
at the start the figure was3082, by the time it was finished the figure jumped to 3089- it was heartbreaking. I asked some young people
who had lost close relatives if I was doing the right thing and they said that I tried to bear witness in an ethical
way. I would like to simply dedicate this picture to all those who lost loved ones during the Troubles.
